A Dog is a Man's Best Friend

Nearly everyone loves puppies and most children have wanted to own one of those puppies for sale at some stage in their lives. The lucky ones go on to have many cherished dogs over a lifetime, while for others this remains a dream. Experts tell us that it gives a child a sense of responsibility to have another living creature to take care of. But before you rush out in search of that Puppies for Sale sign, think carefully about whether your lifestyle would suit a puppy.

Puppies need human interaction when they are taken from their mothers. Without it they become bored, lonely and often destructive. They have no one to bond with and so are not as child-friendly as they could have been. So unless there is someone at home all day, a puppy would not suit your family. And remember that puppies grow up. Dogs need care just as much as puppies do and must be exercise regularly. So unless you or your family are willing to commit time and energy to this aspect of a puppy's care, forget those puppies for sale; you are better off with a cat - or a goldfish.

When you see a boxful of puppies for sale it is indeed very hard to resist scooping them all up to take home, but puppies cost money. They must be fed, vaccinated and provided for with flea and tick control, bedding, leads and shampoo. But when you finally succumb to one of those gorgeous little puppies for sale, you will have a friend for life. How can you put a cost on that?
